The first half of 2015 has given us some great, thought-provoking topics – physical collaborative workspaces, managing knowledge communities across an organisational merger, an update on the evolving world of social collaboration (via video hookup with an expert from Spain), we even looked in the mirror and asked ourselves as KM practitioners, “What is the end game of Knowledge Management?”
Yes, it’s been an insightful six months.
On the back of that we thought we’d make the July meeting a little more low key and gather together meetup-style at The Palace Hotel in Haymarket for a social drink and to kick around a few topics as conversation-starters.
- What defines an online conversation on a social platform as a “business conversation”?
- How has KM changed the way we approach work, and has it really made a difference?
- Can KM ever be a bona fide disruptor, or is that lable confined to business models and technologies?
Better still, BYO topic!
Join us to network with colleagues old and new from the Knowledge world, engage in stimulating conversation around all things “Knowledge”, and socialise your learning over a drink or two while we’re there!
Please Note: The venue has been selected for it’s informal atmosphere and variety of food and drink options. So, as we invite you all to buy whatever food or drink at whatever time you wish to on the night there will be no request for our usual donations!
So come along and join us to network with colleagues old and new from the Knowledge Management world and socialise your learning over a drink if you so wish!
Please RSVP so we can whip up a name tag for you!
