Topic:  Arup – a (very) spatial approach to executing a differentiation strategy

Arup’s Sydney Office recently launched a pilot project to try out new ways of working ahead of relocating to a new office in 2018.  A quarter of the office has been refurbished as part of the experiment.  The new space includes design studios, a workshop, a new activity based working “neighbourhood” and a 3D printer amongst other features.  The spaces aim to foster creativity and collaboration, with Arup University symbolically and literally at the heart of the new approach.  Kim will share the journey from strategy to execution, as well as exploring the value that Arup place on knowledge through Arup University.
